Hi there, my name is Sara, and I am apart of the new generation of beekeepers who have created the modern concept that's become Backroad Beekeeping.

Our great, great grandparents have gifted us with the remarkable trade of beekeeping. Years of tradition, hard work, and dedication to sustainably raising honeybees has paved the road to where we are today.

While we honor the hard work and dedication our family has illustrated through their passion for beekeeping, we believe we have something new to add to the table. Our vision is a mix of the new world and old - it's modern and dynamic, with a nod to the past. Each product is reinvented and hand designed to merge the traditional with the contemporary. We have taken the familiar products of the beehive, and created new concepts that are fit for the modern consumer: you.
