Easy Creamed Honey Appetizer

Hey Hunnies,

The holiday season is right around the corner, and we all know what that means: hosting season is here! If you are like me, then you relish the thought of going all out for friends and family - I’m talking everything from 24 hour marinades to individually baked soufflés.

While that may seem a bit extreme, I genuinely enjoy the preparation leading up to a big gathering. There’s something about seeing how good food paired with great company can really inspire a wonderful evening to unfold.

Although this may sound like I am describing a scenario from a Sunset catalog, I will be the first to admit that I don’t always get the chance to make a grand affair of hosting - in fact, I would say that most times it’s quite the opposite. If you find yourself in my shoes, (whether the in-laws have stopped by for a surprise visit, or it’s girls night and you’d rather focus on conversation than spend all night in the kitchen), then pop open a bottle of wine and present the easiest appetizer known to man.

This DIY Easy Creamed Honey Appetizer, combines all of my favorite things: Pure Creamed Honey for sweetness, almonds for a nutty protein, and seed crackers for a light crunch. Plus, it’s vegetarian!

To assemble, grab your favorite serving tray and scatter with almonds and crackers. Pop open a jar of Old Fashioned Creamed Honey, (with notes of California Wildflowers), and place on the tray. You now have an easy to dip appetizer that will fill your guests up with almost no effort at all!

Bon Appetit,

- S
